Had to give a sampling of some of the amazing beauty on the incredible hikes in Gros Morne National Park. At the bottom of this post is a photo of the park map with the trails that we hiked checked off. This cover photo is from the Tablelands, as are the first 4 pics. My red and white shirt marks the first of 5 pics from the Green Gardens Trail (which was exhausting but amazingly beautiful and reminded me that we were in a different country). The next 4 were…ummmm….yeah, I can’t remember, but I already went through the hassle of uploading them so they remain in this post!! The last 8 are from the Gros Morne Mountain APPROACH Trail…cuz you couldn’t have paid these old bones to attempt the black diamond climb to the Summit! We have a gazillion more pics from our hikes, but this is a pretty good sampling of what this area has to offer.
OK, I can’t stop with these pics, I have to share some more because the different scenery in the different trails was really quite something. Here are a few more from the Coastal Trail (that walks along the Gulf of St. Lawrence). And then some pics from Bakers Brook Falls trail (that actually turned out to be a bit of a workout! But tons of BEAUTY wherever we turned!
